Medallions are usually supplied at a 3/4" thickness, which
includes a solid hardwood wear layer (the same as the
thickness wear layer in regular tongue and groove floors) mounted
on cabinet grade plywood. This construction allows several
sandings as it becomes necessary to refinish the floor, ensuring
you lifetime satisfaction. Medallions and borders can also be installed
in existing floors. Custom designs are offered. There is a broad
variety of domestic and exotic hardwoods to choose from to complement
the floor and other components of the room.
